The focus of the New Testament is the new identity which God says He has given us in Christ, by sheer gift. It is the identity for which each was created and about which all of us have dreamed. But, if we do not know this, the Bible just becomes a book of rules for getting to Heaven.

First Century Church leaders taught about this new identity. They taught how humans are designed to work and what causes people to be dysfunctional. As time progressed, believers lost touch with that knowledge and increasingly struggled to remember what God had accomplished in Christ. The grace of the original Greek text was lost as it was translated into the Roman Latin Bible, which became the standard for over 1,000 years. In the first centuries, as Church teaching changed, so too did the life of believers. Many have wondered what happened to the power so evident in the first believers. Some people have devised all sorts of explanations, but most are not true. Eventually, the lives of early believers became only a distant memory, akin to a myth.

UNSEEN returns to some of the foundational and critically important teachings of the Early Church in a very practical fashion. It explains how we work. It illustrates what causes our hearts and minds to function properly and why we so often seem to work against ourselves. Every believer knows these things, and you can expect UNSEEN to make what you already know more usable. This book is not a bunch of things you need to do but a very personal way of understanding what God is doing. As well, it uncovers many reasons for discrepancies in modern Bible translations. You may discover you already know everything necessary to live like God has planned, and that it is easy. In fact, you will probably realize you know too much and decide to ditch some of what you have been taught. We believe you are about to discover (1) new pieces to the puzzle of your life, (2) how some of what you know is hurting you, and (3) how to cooperate with God so that He can live His life in you, for you, as you. Many have longed for the results of knowing the message of UNSEEN. You are about to discover a new life, which has always been yours and you probably didn’t even know it.

Available at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Amazon, and others.

God’s Symphony

Picture this: The London Philharmonic. Now, savor this, even the screeches: You are a vessel of clay created to be filled with God, through whom He is going to live His life unique to you. No one else will look like you. So too with all of His other vessels. God is...

Going from fear and panic to rest

The entire world appears to be in a state of panic. What should we do? How do we do it? What if I make a mistake? People are terrified of missing out, of getting it wrong. Many believers are even terrified of missing the will of God. In all of this fear, do you feel...

Video – Why Faith Is Important To God (Part 4)

Automatic Results - Misbeliefs prevent us from enjoying the Life of God freely given to those who simply believe. But, how do we rid ourselves of wrong beliefs? Only by the help of the Holy Spirit. In Part 4, I continue developing the theme of why faith is important...

5# God told him that what he believed was wrong

I met a man about a year ago who said that God had told him, “Everything you believe is wrong.” He said he knew it was God and yet he wasn’t terribly surprised. He had been a Christian for many years and what he believed wasn’t working for him. His life and marriage...

#4 God Likes People Who Want to Reason With Him

When God said through Isaiah, “Come, let us reason together” (Is 1:18), He was speaking about getting together with the Children of Israel and thinking through what He had told them. He wanted to have a reasoned discussion with them. God has never demanded...

#3 Many People Worship a God that Thinks Like They Do.

The new protestant church had no way to suddenly rediscover the Gospel of God’s grace if they had even suspected there was one. They had no way to know that the Latin translation was not an accurate rendering of the Greek. By the beginning of the reformation in the...

#2 Can a Private Revelation Become Christian Truth?

Unless we have the foundation taught by Christ and the Apostles, whatever truth we build upon it will never quite fit. It will never work the way God says it should. As explained in my previous blog, over a period of several hundred years many religious leaders came...

A NOT So Good Night’s Sleep

1/26/2017: Last night was not the type of sleep I prefer. I awoke several times and never felt like I was soundly asleep. My dreams were laborious. When I “woke up” this morning, the only assurance that I had slept was that God said He gives His beloved sleep. So,...
